Called To Serve

"A most complete week with Dave speaking at the Wilhelmshaven Branch Conference and conducting the Young Women's class, and then also reading the Sustaining Leadership. After all that talking in German he is experiencing Sahara Dry Mouth.

Then we sent off a new ward missionary from our group to the Muhich-Austrian Mission, where he initially does his 19 days of training in the MTC in England. After all, he already speaks German. Then we had a Ward Ball Friday night prior to our Ward Conference. You know, the "big flashy dance event of the year" Food--we had plenty and lasted 3 days! Well, sort of, 'cause we had a Saturday Cultural Event displaying all the countries that are represented in the Ward. Then a meal after the Sunday Conference. Pretty busy stuff this week.

And what do the typical Germans look like here in Northern Germany? Thought we'd pass on a few: Michael Tranum and his 80 year old dad, my friend Günther. Then we have Henryka Pastula (from Poland) and Elisabeth Marchal, who take care of the building and are the Genealogy experts here. Then there is the Stake Patriarch and his wife, Jürgen and Bianca Schultz. The there is our Bishop and his wife, Jens and Anja Stelter. And let`s finish the personal pics with Crystal Diwayan and Entienne Sadek, two of our Young Adults.

Then we had a nice little YA Choir for the Ward Conference and was very nice. Next pic is of the Missionary Zone Conference in ´Hamburg we had this week and the 8 of us decided to deck ourselves in green for lunchtime in respect for St Patty' Day...all the other 80 missionaries wanted to be in "our District".
