OK, Saturday the 8Th of September, we visited with another couple from Kiel, the Tingeys from Boise, the medieval port city of Lübeck. We met at the Lübeck Ward building. We took the city canal cruise, had lunch in the Ratskeller (old city hall with restaurant in the basement, a standard in every old city in Germany). The restaurants usually are the best in the town. A picture of one of old churches built a few hundred years ago and read this little story about the "devil´s" part in getting it built.
