Traveling back to our apartment for the evening after the Lübeck day trip, we look for a little place to eat. We find, Bonney's Diner. Yes a little piece of Americana right here outside of Hamburg. Complete with plastic seats, wall art from the 50s and 60s, hamburgers and chili (not quite the genuine taste yet) but there on the wall, among the Route 66 road signs and license plates was a green mileage road sign I could not believe. Cheyenne and Chugwater. Chugwater, the city of my youth, somewhere on the prairies of SE Wyoming. Unbelievable!
