Out and about...

Had a free Saturday to do a little Mission District get-together. The 6 of us here in Bremen took the fast train to Bremerhaven , a city 1 hour away up on the North Sea and met the other two Elders there. We had a full day of using the buses and walking all over the city visiting the Ships Museum , Aquarium and Fishmarket. Tasted the tasty fried green herring with potato salad. Marie opted for the Jaeger Schnitzel with mushroom gravy and fried potatoes. With the weather cold, rainy and windy all day, it was good comfort food. And did I mention we found an American pub that serves the Merchant Marine Fleet in Bremerhaven and has real A&W Root Beer…what a treat.
